This project is an ode to friendship, discovering unknown places, sharing moments and making memories. Together.

I hope we can do this all again soon and that we never forget how important this actually is.

So, that’s why there’s a story.

 
 
 

⟶ THE STORY

THESE DAYS is a postcard set that was born due to a serious case of travel nostalgia by yours truly. I miss traveling, I miss to discover the unknown with my best friends, I miss it to make memories together in faraway places – memories that you can relive them forever. To me – going out to explore and sharing moments with your favorite people, is that best thing there is in life. It makes my life worthwhile and it breaks my heart that we can’t do this to the full extent during these challenging times.

On a wooden table lie four postcards, one with wildflowers, one with a sunset, one with a hotel on a hill and from one postcard we can see the back. There is a badge with ‘get lost’, a pen and also a deer skull.
 
 

The idea came to life when I heard the song Old Pine by Ben Howard. That song always takes me back to one of my roadtrips. Music is something powerful, isn’t it? How a song is forever connected to a moment and can transport you back there? I think that is beautiful. On the backside of the postcards you find the lyrics of five songs that stir up that travel nostalgia. On the front you’ll find five pictures of moments where I have fond memories from, moments that I carry close to my heart.

I made the cards to send to your best friends & family, to tell them that you miss them, that you miss exploring the world with them, that you miss making memories.

Postcards that say: ‘I miss these days, but soon enough we’ll be able to go out and explore undiscovered places again. Better days are coming, hang in there. But for now – let’s revel ourselves in the beautiful memories we already made. They are important. They are what makes us rich. They matter’

I wanted to include something fun that was connected to the postcard project.
Something interactive. Something that connects people from all over the world. Something that I love very very much.

The Sticker Project is born!


With your postcard set you’ll find a sticker with ‘… was here.’ It is intended that you take this sticker with you on your next trip, national or international.

Leave it at a location of your choice and write your name on it. Then, take a selfie with the sticker and send it to me at: hello@carofromthewild.com 

Together with that selfie, also send me some other pics of your trip, a short introduction of yourself/selves, the destination of your trip and a great memory you’ve made. Or a few. :)

Whatever you feel like sharing. I’d love to read it whatever it is.

 
 
 
 
 

The purpose of The Sticker Project?

To gather all these beautiful stories about peoples travels & the memories that were made and give them a special place on my website so everyone can read them, can connect with them, inspire them and most of all to remind them that making memories is very important. Memories are very precious. We can go back to them when we are sad. They can make us happy again. They are what make us rich. So, go out there and explore. Either with friends, or with strangers, or just – by yourself. Live in the moment. Connect with people. Share moments. Make beautiful memories. Treasure them. Speak about them. They matter.
