part 1: I was here
This project started with some postcards about travel nostalgia.
I missed traveling, I missed it to discover the unknown with my best friends, I missed it to make memories together in faraway places. I missed these days.
And I longed to do to all those things again.
So I made some cards that people could send to their friends to remind them of the good times and to hang in there, because better days were coming. Soon we’ll be on the road again, exploring faraway places, making memories. Together. But for now – let’s revel ourselves in the beautiful memories we already made. They are important. They are what makes us rich. They matter.

The Sticker Project is born!
With their postcard set they could find a sticker with ‘… was here.’ It was intended that they take this sticker with them on their next trip. Write their name on it, leave it at a location of their choice, take a selfie with the sticker & e-mail it to me together with a few other pics of their trip + tell me who they are, the destination of their trip & a great memory they’ve made on their trip - or even their whole travel story. Whatever they felt like sharing.
I gathered all these stories of peoples travels & the memories that were made and gave them a special place on my website so everyone can read them, can connect with them, inspire them and most of all to remind them that making memories is very important.
Memories are very precious. We can go back to them when we are sad. They can make us happy again. They are what make us rich.
⟶ So, go out there and explore. Either with friends, or with strangers, or just – by yourself. Live in the moment. Connect with people. Share moments. Make beautiful memories. Treasure them. Speak about them. They matter.
